I managed to update my Mate 8 from the stock 103 firmware it came with to 152 by doing the "reboot with volume up and down buttons held" method, but no matter what I do, it won't work with any of the update files I've tried for 160 or 162. I am completely stock, unlocked bootloader. It fails at 5% and says it's not compatible.
My current build is NXT-C900B152. Am I doing something wrong? I have been to a few different threads here and tried all of the links listed there, but I get the same error no matter what. I have the 64GB/4GB RAM model. I don't know if that matters or not. The 152 update went off without a hitch, but it's the only one I've been able to get to work so far.
