I have 2 Galaxy S5's on Kitkat 4.4.2 and have done no upgrades. When I push the volume button up or down I get the Ringtone on screen and then I can touch the Gear icon and see the other 3 volume settings on one of the S5's but on the other S5 nothing happens when I touch the Gear icon so I can't adjust the other 3 volumes (system, notifications and media) unless I go into settings > sound > volume.
Oddly this is a near clone of another Galaxy S5 I have (except of course ESN etc.) and it does not have this problem. This problem only started recently. I've seen mention of this problem happening upon upgrading to Lollipop but this phone still has Kitkat 4.4.2 (my preference :D )
