Due to the request of various members I have started a topic here for the rom for the xt1096 verizon model with android 6.0 marshmallow. This rom was developed by @hutchjim using the xt1097 marshmallow as a base.
Installation:
To install the rom, flash the zip from a custom recovery such as TWRP/CWM/etc.
Root:
To root this rom @donslade has stated that the files for the XT1095 work for it. They can be found here: http://ift.tt/1R8WyiA
Known issues:
Some people are experiencing an issue where it says they are roaming.
