Note Edge - Weird Problem when updating to Marshmallow

Hi everybody!

New in the forum so I hope I'm posting in the right place (@mods: feel free to move this if necessary).

I have a problem when upgrading my Galaxy Notes Edge to Marshmallow. The phone was working fine wit 5.1.1 and then I got the OTA upgrade to MM, which at first sight run smoothly. The problem is that if turn off the screen, or the handy goes to sleep after some inactivity time, then I cannot switch it on again. The screen remains black :(

That handy keeps working though. I can hear the vibration if I remove/insert the stylus, and I hear the beeps when I increase/decrease the volume. So the phone is not crashing per se, only the screen remains black. I need to remove the battery and turn on the phone again to get it back working.

I thought first the OTA update went wrong so I flashed back the stock firmware 5.1.1 with Odin v3.10.7. The phone worked perfectly fine as it used to be.

As second try I downloaded the 6.0.1 stock firmware (N915FYXXU1DPE1_N915FYAUT1DPE1_N915FYXXU1DPC3_HOME .tar) and flashed it via Odin this time. Unfortunately it shows the same symptoms at the OTA update. When the screen goes off or to sleep, it stays black until I remove the battery.

I noticed that after flashing MM, if I want to enter recovery mode, I see the android guy trying to install the updates and then I get the "No command" symbol. After that the recovery menu appears, this is odd...

Can somebody help me with this problem? What can I do to get MM properly working, I really like this phone and I'd like to avoid staying 5.1.1. forever...

Thanks a lot in advance and feel free to ask for more details if the above is not clear!

Regards...
