Hello experts,
I have Samsung Note 2 N7105 32GB that is soft-bricked. I happened without any trials for flashing. I was skiing one day and went back and everything was good. The next day i left my phone home to charge. and since then it is a boot loop. when i try to switch it on, or sometimes just when USB cable is connected it tries to boot. I get samsung logo and then "downloading", like the attached picture (sorry, i can't add a picture. ask me if it 's needed)
When i tried to install original firmware using different Odin versions including v3.6 and v3.11 i get error message something like "PIT is not available" or "Cannot find PIT", even when i repartitioning option is selected.
So what i thought is that it is a HW issue.
The phone does not go into restore mode (it entered restore mode once, but not any more) but it can go to download mode and i can see there the device model and all other details. first i thought of SDS but for me it might not be the case, because it was long time after the SDS was detected and i have already updated the phone firmware to the latest version. Also i read that a faulty eMMC would result to not show the device name on Odin Mode (But may be i am wrong) and what i read is that the 32GB version is less likely to have it.
I took it to Samsung Customer Service and they wanted to fix it by changing the main board, which is pretty costy for such an old phone, and what i really want from the phone is the data.
Can someone help me to suggest how to get the data out of the eMMC? Any help would be appreciated
